Radiation therapy is a widely acknowledged therapeutic option for patients with malignant tumors. Modern radiation procedures make it possible to minimize radiation in neighboring healthy tissue and this helps curb side-effects. Proton therapy is a modern and highly precise form of radiation therapy that is now being used increasingly throughout the world and will soon be available in Berlin.“
